Weekly Purchases!

I love shopping (grocery, for fun…any type is welcome!)!

024

From Trader Joe’s and the local Food Co-Op. (I love their goodies!!!!!)

TJ’s has the best chocolate soymilk ever.

025

Not too thick like the Silk Chocolate soy milk; juuuuuuuuuust right. 🙂 And each is only $1.69!! That’s pretty cheap/afforadable! 😀

026

Brownie (without the cinammon – tastes 100 times better!!), PBChocolate bar, and Bobo’s Oat Bars. (Chocolate for me, PB for him) 🙂 My bf ate both the PB bars in one day! What a peanut butter monster he is 🙂 (the girl on the Oat Bars is really cute!) 🙂 They seem to have lots of other flavors, like Almond, Apricot, Banana, Coconut, and much more!!

Got luna bars in a box for the first time ever.

027

15 in each. It’s the same price no matter how you buy it 🙂 This is my emergency food, in case the school loses power or something.  🙂

028

Do you think I got this at the food co-op? Nope! Actually from Trader Joe’s, too! (The food co-op has it for $3.75-ish) While at Trader Joe’s, it’s $2.99!!!

056

Same thing with these tooth brushes! It was also $2.99 at TJ’s!!! (around $4 at the co-op!) 😯 Recently, throwing stuff away was becoming a concern for me (thinking about how it stays in the landfill) I can recycle these at the Preserve Gimme 5 located at Whole Foods. 🙂 I can recycle any “5” marked containers here (like hummus containers, yogurt containers, etc.) too!! Awesome program!!

This video we watched in English got me thinking about it. (“This is not an environmental class!” is what my teacher likes to say)  I decided to make as much toiletry products (shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc.) that I can, because really, I think that now is the right time to stop being selfish and think about what’s happening to the planet! **DIY Lip balm post to come!!

As of now, I already use homemade conditioner. (2 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 5 seconds squirt of lemon juice + water) This has been working out really good for me. It’s actually helping my hair grow faster!!! I was surprised by this result, so I recommend people using it and continue using it!

This video got me thinking: “What the heck are all those chemicals that I’m putting on my head?!” Looking at the ingredients and searching what they were, they were actually petroleum!!!! Scary? Yes. Want something better? Yes. Apple cider it is? YES!!!

052

Buys Round 2. The chocolate chips and coconut butter were used to make my Nut Free Chocolate Coconut Butter Spread.

016

I love big clips: I like paper clips!!! They keep everything organized, don’t they? 😉

New Finds and Eats!!!

061

Finally found the Chocolate Dipped Coconut!!!! And I found Chocolate Chunk, too!! (WF’s was doing a beauty section make-over) The Coconut one was great! The taste and smell of coconut was good, but it was very oily 🙂 (photos to come soon!) The Chocolate Chunk tasted like coffee!! Yes it is chocolate, but it had a slight coffee taste. Coffee-lovers might  like it 🙂

This local bakery reopens on February 1st!!!

058

They have vegan pretzels, and I want to go check ’em out! 🙂

And I hope this weather comes back soon!

New Year’s Food ‘n’ Buys ‘n’ Eats!

Food post! Just too much (non-New Years related) pictures to put on the previous post. 😉

Recent buys:

NewYears 002

Ran out of Whole Wheat Flours because I was making pancakes like crazy. 🙂 And though I decided to cut out Kombucha, I wanted something fizzy. Thought it was better than having a soda. 🙂 (but I had some of my brother’s anyways)

Honest Tea’s Apple Jasmine Kombucha: This had a fair taste of apples (and the smell too). It tasted like it was watered down A LOT. (compared to Synergy or Vibranz kombucha) But if you want a light “fizz”, it’s okay. 🙂

NewYears 003

And I wanted to make Averie’s Chex Mix, so I bought this Kashi’s Island Vanilla a while ago. As a cereal, it’s not sweet. Too hard, and it gets soft too easy. I like “crunchy“, but this wasn’t “crunchy” at all. I like my Hemp Granola Cereal waaaaaaaaay better. 😉

This next one was buy one get one free special (and it was only $2.59 each), so I bought it. Three Sisters Instant Oatmeal.

NewYears 008

The package that the oatmeal was in is very convenient and eco-friendly. Open the package, and fill it up to the line with water; no cups needed! Very convenient.

NewYears 010

But the oatmeal part of this: EW. Oatmeal is the most bland, disgusting food I’ve ever had. It’s mushy and tasteless; it’s lacking “crunchiness” so much! Yes that’s how oatmeal is supposed to be, but I hate it. XP I will eat it up (or maybe use it in a recipe?) though; don’t like wasting food. 🙂

NewYears 015

Tried adding it in Whole Soy & Co’s Vanilla yogurt, which made it a little flavorful.

Also bought this at Whole Foods, and these are yummers!!

NewYears 022

A little bit on the dry side, but not going to complain. It has less than 10 ingredients, and it’s like Chips Ahoy! but vegan!!! I’ve wanted cookies like that ever since going vegan (in a package with about 20-25 cookies each), and it costs technically the same! ($3.69) I’m willing to buy it again, but that’s if I’m craving cookies on the dry side. (I like TJ’s cookies better; super-moist!!)

This is always fun to eat:

NewYears 020

Odwalla‘s Choco-Walla Bar!! I like their Superfruit juice, too! We’re good friends. 😉

I bought a different Kombucha for New Year’s Eve.

NewYears 023

Kombucha Botanica Hibiscus. This one tasted good! (looks like beer lol) Not too watered down like the above one, very fizzy, and I was able to taste the hibiscus! If you’re going for a stronger, flowery one, then this one’s better. 🙂

Recipe! Eggless Egg Salad!!

NewYears 019

From peta2‘s 2-week vegan recipes. The recipe makes it into a sandwich. I didn’t. 🙂

Eggless Egg Salad:

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of extra firm tofu (drained) – it better be firm because if it’s soft, it does NOT seem like eggs!!!
  • 1/2 cup of vegan mayo
  • 1 1/2 tbsp of dejon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric (for yellow color)
  • 2 – 3 stalks of green onion (chopped – optional) <- I didn’t add any
  • 1/4 cup relish
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. Mash tofu.
  2. Add in all other ingredients.
  3. Eat!

You can put it into bread of course! Then it will yield 4 servings.

I doubled the recipe because I added an extra package of SOFT tofu (that’s all I had), then it tasted plain. (I still have some left) The sourness of the relish makes it taste really good, and I made this into a sandwich as well, and it tasted just like real egg salad sandwich!! If you like egg salad, it’s worth a shot to give it a try! 😉 I think this will be a staple at my house!

They also have a Tuna recipe, and I’m looking forward to making this too! (but first, I need to use up my relish…Relish tastes really good!) Maybe I’ll have an egg salad sandwich for lunch everyday in college! (sandwich is convenient, I don’t have to pay a high price for my lunch at the dining hall, and I won’t have to go back up to my room every time for lunch!) Hm, maybe! 😀

Lesson learned: buy relish at TJ’s, because they are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY cheaper than Whole Foods ($4.99 vs $1.99; both organic)!!! Both preservative free. 🙂

I Know What to Write! Product Reviews!!

Hi all! How are you doing today? 😉

First of all, I added some new drawings on my Artworks Page!

One of the “most searched” things on my blog was this drawing below, so I put it under the Artworks page, so you don’t have to go find it. 🙂

I’m actually really happy that this one’s popular. (^^)

I’ve been into making some pancakes recently (reasons to come…later. Maybe), but I just don’t get when to flip it!!! D: 90% of the time, it ends up being burnt :/ Tips anyone??

Oh! I know what else to write about! 😀 I’ve been enjoying some new products.

Fruit of the Earth’s Vitamin E skin care cream! It contains ingredients that are pronounceable (yeay!), it smells really good (lotion smell, but not strong at all), and it’s working very good on my skin!!! 😀 You can get it at Bartell Drugs or any other drug store 🙂

And EOS‘s Vanilla lipbalm!!!

Vanilla Bean Lip Balm Stick

This company’s lip balm products are  95% organic, 100% natural, not tested on animals, weird chemicals (paraben, petrolium, pthalate)-free, and it lasts for a while!!! 😀 It has a sweet, vanilla scent, and it’s not strong on the lips.

I’ve also tried their Summer Fruit Lip balm

Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm Stick

and Sweet Mint

Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm Stick

I recommend the Summer Fruit lip balm if you love fruity flavors, and I recommend the Sweet Mint if you’re REALLY into STRONG mint flavors!! This was too strong for me, so I’m going to stick with the Summer Fruit and Vanilla Beans.

They are on a bit pricy side for a lip balm (ranges I’ve seen are from $2.99 to $3.49), but they are worth it for their quality, and how it’s not tested on animals! 🙂 They also have Pomegranate Raspberry and Sweet Mint for the smooth stick, and Lemon Drop spf 15, Honeysuckle Honeydew, and Medicated Tangerine for the smooth sphere. 🙂 I personally like the smooth sphere (the round lip balm) more, because you get 3 more grams (4g vs 7g) than the smooth stick for the same price!! 😀 I’m cheap like that 😉

What lip balms do you use? Any one’s that you recommend? I hear people like Burt’s Bee and Kiss My Face, but for anyone who uses those, how is it?

For my vegan life style, I like Merry Hempster’s Lip balms too! They are available at Whole Foods for $2.49 each. 🙂

Merry Hempsters Vegan Hemp Lip Balm Vanilla Product Details Product Details Product Details

From left to right: Vanilla, Lemon and Lime, Peppermint, and Orange. Some of them have sunscreen protection (spf 15) in it, which I am more than certain that I’m allergic to, I can’t use, and they irritate the skin. But flavor-wise, lemon and lime and orange are pretty tasty, peppermint isn’t as strong as Sweet Mint from above, and this vanilla tastes more laid back then the vanilla beans mentioned above.

This company makes “OrganicandVegan” lip balms, so read carefully to find which one you want (because the organic one is NOT vegan).

That’s it for my product reviews today! After Christmas, I’m going to bust out my camera, take photos, and I’m going to give you a quiz, so be looking forward to it! 😀

The weather’s nice, and I’m off to being a stalker secret santa for my bestie who let me use her oven on a school night! 😉

Have a good day and thanks for coming! 🙂

Environmentally-Friendly What?!

Hello! How are you all doing today? 😉

This is also another post that I haven’t done in a while, so here it goes!

Guess what I got in the mail when I came back from the Puyallup Fair?

It’s a fairly big package…

Inside revealed:

Lunapads!!!! 😀 Reusable and organic napkins! How wonderful is that?

According to their website:

“…Approximately 20 billion pads, tampons and applicators are being sent to North American landfills annually. On an individual level, each of the approximately 73 million menstruating women in North America will throw away 125 to 150kg of disposable menstrual products in her lifetime .”

Ho Ly COW. That’s A LOT! 😯 If you think about it, it totally makes sense!!

And it costs less on the long-run, too. From their website:

Comparison of cost per use of disposable pads and tampons versus reusable products

Disposable Products  Price @ Drugstore.com # per pack  Cost Per Use
 Always Infinity Maxi Pads $9.99 36 $0.28
 Stayfree Maxi Pads $6.99 28 $0.25
7th Generation ultra thin maxi pads $4.29 18 $0.24
 Natracare Organic Cotton Maxis $4.69 12 $0.39
 Kotex Maxi Pads w/wings $7.99 28 $0.29

Seventh Generation tampons $5.19 20 $0.26
 Instead Cup $9.49 24 $0.40

Reusable Products  Price @ Lunapads.com  Use Frequency (1)   Life (2)
 Lunapads Pantyliners $10.99 3 times/week 5 yrs

 Lunapads Long Pad & Liner  $18.99 (includes 1 liner) 3 times/month 5 yrs
 The DivaCup $35.00 4 x/day, 5 days/mo. 2 years

Wow! 😯 Environmental merit + cost = awesome to get reusable ones!

And because they’re organic and not made with yucky chemicals, it doesn’t cause any skin irritations! Yeay!

They’re super-easy to use, very comfy, and it’s just fun to know that I’m helping by simpling putting them in the washing machine! (I soak them in water and wash it out first) They’re a bit pricy ($80 for mine. Wooosh!) 8O, but it’s worth it if it last for that long. 🙂

They have sale products, too, so check them out here!

And I also found a more local one called Amy’s Rag Bag!

They’re A LOT cheaper, and they’re handmade!! I talked to the owner (she was selling them at the Farmer’s Market), and she was very friendly!

Amy’s is a lot easier to use (no changing pads), but you have to add more pads below the pad to make it more secure. So it depends on what you like and how much money you’re willing to spend on it. But I like them both in their own ways. 🙂 I use the lunapads when I’m on my period, and I use Amy’s when I”m just about done with it.

Have you tried them before? Or do you know another company like this? If you do, please share! I’d love to find and try new pads!

And lunapads will give you free stickers when you order (and a leaflet too, but I didn’t want one), and a coupon too.

It’s said that “Having a few nice-looking, comfortable pads can help you make peace with your cycle. Many women who switch to reusables develop more pride and respect for their bodies.” I can proudly say that this is true. I feel more comfortable, and I really enjoy when my period comes!! 😀

So if you have any stories like this, please share!

Now I’m off to sleep with my new VegNews magazine! I subscribed to it, and I love it! 😀

Are you subscribed to any magazines? If so, what? I’m now going to be subscribed to Women’s Health! I love their workout plans and eats! (it motivates me more to be healthy and go to the gym more often!)

Have a good day and thaaaaaaaaanks for coming! 🙂

Finally Food and Where I’m Going

Hi everyone! How are you today? 😉

Ever since losing my camera, I couldn’t keep a record of the yummy eats I’ve been having. (I have A LOT) Like Cookies from Alternative Baking Company,

Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter,

(This is just like Nutella!!!! I’m glad there’s a vegan version of it!) 🙂 With little bits of hazelnut in it, it’s pretty good for a chocolate and/or hazelnut lovers!!

Because my mom’s been worrying about me losing my hair (“because you’re not getting enough nutrients”), I bought Manitoba Harvest’s Dark Chocolate Hemp Protein and VegLife‘s Vegan One Multiple.

,

The powder is very chocolatey, but it’s a little hard to dissolve it in soymilk. (but does great in water.) So for a smoothie, I recommened using water instead of dairy-free milk.

Ha ha, the powder was on sale for $12, but we went to Trader Joes and found the almost EXACT same product (with super-close ingredients and nutritional stats) for $7. Next time, that’s where I’m getting my protein. 😉

The Multiple seems to be working pretty good. It’s iron-free, and now I don’t have to take 3 different suppliements! 😀

I’ve never tried Hemp Milk before, so I gave Living Harvest’s Tempt Vanilla Hemp Milk a try with Nature’s Path Pumpin Flax Plus Granola!!! 😀 (Hemp on hemp. Lots of hemp, I know) 😉

 +  = VERY HEMP-Y!!!

The Tempt Hemp Milk was very runny/watery compared to soy milk; it reminded me of Rice Dream’s Rice Milk. The pumkin granola has a little “pumpkin flavor” to it; it’s great for this season, right? (Gosh, everyone likes pumpkins in the fall.) 🙂 Me? I prefer the original granola and summer 🙂

Because I bought a little too many boxes of the Hemp Granola, I decided to make Chocolate Turtles out of it! I used Kris’ recipe, but I tweeked it a little bit to meet my needs. 😉

Miho’s Hemp Seed Chocolate Clusters:

  • 1/2 cup of Hemp Granola
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower butter (I had it for the first time and it reminded me of Kinako! It’s soybean powder with added sugar to give it sweetness; usually put on rice cakes/mochi) 🙂
  • 1/4 cup Agave Nectar (or Maple Syrup)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 bar Dark Chocolate

Steps:

  1. Put Nut Butter, Agave, Vanilla, and Sea Salt into a pan and heat it over medium high.
  2. When the texture changes into a chunky/caremel-like blob, remove pan from heat, put the granola in and stir.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop a blob and place it on a cookie sheet (depends on how big the blob is; I made about 24) and put it in the freezer for 10- 15 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate bar, take #3 out of the freezer, pour the melted chocolate over it, and put it back in the freezer (or fridge) until chocolate hardens. (I was too impatient the first time, so I put the semi-melted chocolate bar into the mixture. Then the cluster turned brown!) 😀
  5. When ready, eat up!

I didn’t have enough chocolate because I used the leftover from what I ate, so some of them are choco-less. (but still good and nutty if you like that! :D) This was really good, and next time, maybe I’ll use Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter and/or definitely have more chocolate on top! 😀

(the picture above was taken with the laptop camera)

Yesterday, I felt like going to the near-by Co-op (though I went the day before. I never get tired of going there. It’s like Whole Foods; less expensive!), and I totally scored on Larabars!!! $0.99 each, and jocalat bars for $1.19 each!!

Somebody seems to have filled up their stash a little too much. 😉 13 A good amount of larabars isn’t a bad thing, right? 😉 (and it was only $14 total!) (I like Luna bars more persay, but it’s pricy there. I’d rather get it at TJ’s then)

School-wise, it’s been awesome! I’ve been going to the REC center these days, and I’m enjoying my exercises and sweating like crazy with my face all apple-red from running/jogging a mile!! (a mile in 10 minutes for a non-exerciser/runner is pretty good, I think) I’ve been enjoying testing different workouts and equipments. 🙂

I’m getting the hang of college. I’ve been doing fairly well on tests, and my self-confident is slowly building up.

Speaking of that, I’ve been showing more graditude than I do now. I’m reading a great Japanese book called The Way of Thanks.

(source)

It explains the importance of saying “thank you” and showing gratitude. In my opinion, this book seems a little pushy about how you should say “thank you” 1000 or even 3000 times. But the point-being is that it’s important to appriciate what you have (from eyes, nose, hands, arms to a house, car, food, etc.). Kris speaks about gratitude in her post as well.

I can see/feel myself growing as a person, and I think I’m going to come out as a better person than I am right now in 4 years. (4 years as in finishing college) I’m just thankful that I’m able to live right now. 🙂

What are you grateful for? Do you show gratitude? To who?

I show gratitude to everyone who has a connection to me and everything else around me.  🙂

Thanks for coming and enjoy the rest of your day!

Ahh, Hectic!

Hi everyone! How are you doing today? 😉

Fhew! I’m in college right now, and I’ve been preeeeeeeeety busy!!  I didn’t know studying in/for college took up this much time! And I’m still exploring around here, so that also takes up time! 😯

And guess what? Yesterday, I LOST MY CAMERA!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! 😯

This is a MAJOR issue for me because I take so many pictures to put on this blog, and without it, I can’t really blog like I’d like to!!! Boo!! 😦

And because I didn’t back up all the recent pictures to my laptop, I can’t do new posts!!!!! 😯

This is what happened (p.s: this was a comment I wrote on a blog, so it may sound choppy): I was taking pictures with my camera at college, and for some reason/some how, I misplaced it somewhere and I ABSOLUTELY canNOT find it anywhere!!

I was in a really pissy mood; and interestingly enough, I got even pissier because due to my bf and I looking for it (in a negative mood), the dining hall closed!!

I was as stumped as ever, but then I realized:I’m the one who’s attracting all this negative stuff. Okay, if I can’t find it, FINE. Now, I NEED TO CHANGE MY ATTITUDE.

So, instead of going back to my room feeling all crudy, we went to a local food co-op to buy dinner. And guess what? We got to try new food that we’ve never had before!! (evol burrito, local pasta with tofu, etc.) I felt better about it.

And today, I was a lot better than yesterday. But I still wanted my camera, so I went all over the campus (everywhere; to all the lost and founds to all the classes I went to) to ask if they’ve seen one. For me, not having my camera is a major issue, because without it, I can’t blog with fun pictures!

But I think, that if I keep a positive attitude, I’ll create a positive vibe where it’ll eventually lead me to finding my camera!

I just want to say, changing your attitude can make a HUGE difference 🙂

———————

So yeah 🙂 That’s the conclusion I came up with. Please wish me a good luck to finding my camera, because I REALLY need it, and I JUST CAN’T GO WITHOUT IT!!! 😦 Maybe all your positive vibes will help me find it 🙂 because people, you can give vibes to pretty much anyone who’s anywhere.

Sorry for the choppy post. But I felt like I wanted to say SOMETHING out to the blog world!

And all of you that still read this and takes time to comment, thank you SO much. Me being who I am (not really a person who talks to people because I do my own things), those comments mean A LOT to me.

I love you all, and haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave a great day!!!!! ❤ 🙂

New To Many Things!

Hi everyone! How are you doing today? 😉

Quite a lot of things to cover. Before and after going to Japan, Michael and I went to Seattle to enjoy some AMAZING vegan food.

Before: We went to Wayward Cafe.

(I have more pictures on the desktop, so I may or may not add more pictures)

I think it’s really cool how it proudly says Vegan. (And guess what? All the guys that work there are vegan!!! Now that’s pretty cool. ;))

There, we ordered their Vegan Omlet with Sham. Yes, an OMLET that’s vegan.

OH. MY. GOSH. It tasted like eggs!!!!!! And the cheese melted in my mouth as I took a bite. It was soooooooooooooo good! (I asked them how they made the “egg”, and the waiter said that they use lots of tofu. And their sham is made in the house!!) I haven’t had a vegan omlet before, or an omlet in general, but this, was VERY good. I would LOVE to eat it again!!

After: We went to Pizza Pi!!! (which is about a couple of blocks away from the Wayward Cafe, and right accross the street from the Sidecar For Pigs Peace. (I like how all the Vegan places are REALLY close to eachother)

 (source)

They had some very unique artworks on their walls. Very eye-catching. 😉

The bottom one was on our side of the wall.

And their bathroom sign was interesting. 🙂

I wonder if the girl is sitting down. Ha ha! 😀

Out of all the interestingly-named pizza, we decided to order a 12-inch Pesto Pizza.

Tomato sauce, Olives, Green Bell Peppers, Italian Sausage, and Vegan Cheese all on a super-thin crust.

OH. MY. GOSH. This was AMAZING!!! It was super-warm (fresh out of the oven), crunchy, and the cheese melted in my mouth!!!! I’ve never had a sausage pizza, and this, was absolutely AMAZING. I would want to have it again someday! 😀

8 slices total = 4 slices x 2 people. It was A LOT, and I was SUPER-FULL at the end, but it was totally worth it. 😉

All done! (we didn’t want to get a box, because I didn’t want to just toss it out later. So we finished all, and it was all-good) 🙂 We’re such environmentalists, aren’t we? 😉

And of course, we went to the awesome, all-vegan Sidecar For Pigs Peace and bought some new eats and drinks.

Herbucha for $3.52

and a vegan Espresso Truffle. (hey, this looks like a chocolate booby, doesn’t it? Ha ha!! 😉

The herbucha was very fizzy (but not like Synergy), and they had more “herb-y” taste. 🙂 The espresso truffle had a coffee bean on the top, and it was very…chocolate-y!!! The middle part was all soft, and the outside was hard, but it was very good!! (and yes, I’d like to have it again!)

After being all stuffed and full, we went to Mighty-O’s!!!!!

Had their doughnuts several times, but this was the first time going to the actual place!

Very cute place, and they were making doughnuts in the back, so there weren’t that many.

After talking about which one to get, I decided to get the Nutty Chocolate.

The chocolate was still warm, and it was very goo-y. The nuts gave the soft doughnut some crunchiness, and it was very good! (chocolate doughnut + chocolate coating + nuts = Chocolate Heaven!) If you like chocolates (and nuts) like crazy, you’d like this a lot.

Also, I had some new eats.

RAW Dark Chocolate. Bitter – 84% bitterness in my opinion. Because it was raw, I felt good eating about it, because cocoa is good for you, and it has lots of antioxidents! If it’s raw, I think it’s even better for me! 😀

Tofurky’s Cheese Pizza!! We bought this a while ago, and because my family decided to have pizza, I had Michael cook it for me! (he added the extra sausage, because he had some at home)

And guess what? This had A LOT of garlic flavor to it!!! (Garlic butter, perhaps?) It was REALLY REALLY good!!!!! Even my mom (who’s an omni) said it was really good!!! 😉 (she loves garlic, too) OH MAN. I’d LOVE to have it again!!!! 😀

YES!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!! Chocolate Chip larabars!!!! I heard about this over, and over, and over, but never found them. BUT Michael found it and got it for me!!!! (apparently, it was at PCC, and that’s not that far from our house. I wonder why we never checked there…Hmm…perhaps things are expensive there?)

I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Larabar, and it was VERY good!! It tasted peanut buttery, but it wasn’t a strong peanut butter taste (which I like), and yet, it still had a strong chocolate chip taste to it!!! 😀 I liked it, and I’m looking forward to trying the chocolate chip brownie one!!

What’s your favorite kind of larabars? Do you make your own? I like chocolate ones, and cashew’s pretty good, too. 😉 I used to make my own, but after realizing how I’m not good with nuts, I stopped making them. But having them once in a while is good. 🙂

Happy Monday and thanks for coming!!! 🙂

P.S: I have another post about last week coming! (so this post and the soon-to-come post should be reversed, but oh well.) I’m just giving all of you a heads up!!
